Reliability Solution/EXP Installation

The Plant

BE&K’s Role
For this project, we mentored Temple-Inland’s Maysville mill employees in the methods to implement Ivara EXP.

Our consultant worked with mill personnel to optimize the existing installation and to implement enhancements to the mill’s reliability strategy and asset condition monitoring program.

The project consisted of two distinct phases. First, there was an initial cleanup of the existing system before any software upgrades could be applied.

Next, we trained a Maysville point person, who will champion the EXP installation at the mill.

This person will be a full-time integral part of this project, and such an assignment is the only way to ensure that Maysville will reap the maximum benefits of the program over time.

Operations and maintenance personnel utilize the solution to ensure maximum uptime and quality paper production. The mill has experienced very favorable results from the Ivara System.
